Our secluded grounds, in the beautiful Sunshine Coast hinterland, provide an ideal location for hosting regular classes, day workshops, and short retreats instructing activities consistent with Buddhist values. The Meditation Hall (Gönpa) is Namgyalgar’s main practice space, it houses the seat from which the late Dzogchen Master, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, taught during his visits to Namgyalgar. This tranquil practice space features an entire wall of sliding glass doors, which flood the venue with natural light and views of the bush.
Meditation Hall hire includes access to our Mandala Kitchen with tea and coffee-making facilities and a fridge. A toilet and shower is located near the entry to the hall.
Hourly rate: $25 per hour with a minimum of 2 hour hire.
Daily rate: $150 per day (maximum 8 hours between 8am-8pm)

Retreat Hire
Namgyalgar has accommodation for up to 12 people in a comfortable residential house. The house has an inviting outdoor dining area extending into a yard shaded by a large poinciana tree and access to a swimming pool. While there is a kitchen in the house, main meals are best prepared in the Mandala Kitchen. Retreat Hire includes the Mandala Kitchen, library and Meditation Hall.
Minimum 2 nights
$660 per night for accommodation.
Additional $150 per day for Meditation Hall.
