Description
Loving Kindness
In this course, you are invited to explore how the practice of Loving Kindness meditation can gently and profoundly transform the way you relate to yourself, others, and life as a whole. Simple in form yet deeply powerful, this practice is often described as a gem for both the heart and the mind.
The course is composed of 13 lessons, unfolding in three progressive stages:
-
Discovering Loving Kindness and its felt sense,
-
Deepening the practice through experience and reflection,
-
Stabilising Loving Kindness as a natural quality in daily life.
Loving Kindness meditation has its roots in ancient India, within both Hindu and Buddhist traditions, dating back more than 2,500 years. Traditionally, it has been practiced as a way to dissolve ill-will, cultivate goodwill toward all beings, and generate states of deep calm, clarity, and inner stability.
In recent decades, this ancient practice has also been studied through modern scientific research. Findings suggest that Loving Kindness meditation can help reduce anxiety, ease symptoms of depression, increase emotional well-being, and support a more satisfying and connected experience of life.
This course does not aim to transmit Loving Kindness as an abstract idea, but rather to explore it experientially. Each lesson invites you to listen, practice, reflect, and discover what this quality means for you directly, at your own pace and in your own way.
